A Source of Healing From God's Word........

Proverbs 4:20  Says this.....  My child, pay attention to what I say.    Listen carefully to my words.

I love the "pay attention" part.  God's word needs our undivided attention, without any distractions from the day, from work, from family or any other source.

The second part of the verse is also critical.  We have to listen carefully because I don't know about you, but I don't want to miss a word of what God has to say....not one word.

Let's look at V. 21 also which says this:  (NIV)  Do not let them out of your sight,
    keep them within your heart;

One key of verse 21 in my opinion is a continued focus on the word of God, with our eyes and ears and brain.  And when we chew on a portion of scripture long enough it will be hidden in our hearts.  (Hopefully Forever)

Then at that point we can claim Psalm 119:11 which says this:  "I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you."

Last but not least it's good to mention the benefits of obeying God's word.  Which is in Proverbs V. for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body.

Sounds to me like it's a good source of healing!

God Bless You!!

"Pay Close Attention to My Words"

Need healing in your body?   Need encouragement?  Proverbs 4:20-22 is an awesome passage.

It tells us to "Pay Close Attention" to what I say" and "Listen Closely to My Words"  Those two passages are plenty to meditate on alone.

But V. 21 Says this:  Do not let them out of your sight keep them within your hear..........V.  22:  For they are life to those who find them and health to a man's WHOLE body.

This is an awesome promise!  Health, Life.............Wow.  God is good.  And we need His Word............really Bad!!

I just want to encourage you to meditate on Scripture as often as you can.  Please Don't get distracted.

God and His word are worth it!!!!

My Baby Boy and Jesus

I was praying to God and crying this morning as I read the Bible and cried out seeking Gods face.  And I was holding my baby by who is 41/2 months old.

And every time I looked down at Dominic Maximus in my arms, he was looking at me so intently with wide eyes and he immediately would smile.  Then I would place my face close to his and he would hold on to me so tight.

His face would become radiant when I looked down upon him.............wow.  That is how our face radiates when God looks upon us.

Thank you Jesus!!!
